Bachelor of Early Education
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, I feel incredibly proud to step into the role of Director. My journey began in Sydney, where I spent many years developing my practice before making a sea change to this wonderful community. Throughout my career, I have held the role of Educational Leader both in Sydney and here at Fox St, building strong relationships with educators and guiding high-quality learning experiences for children. When I first moved here, I also taught the Early Childhood Certificate at TAFE, further strengthening my passion for mentoring and supporting educators.
As a wife and mum of three (not-so-little) children, I value the importance of connection, time together and creating lasting memories. Whether it’s long, relaxed weekends or heading off camping to explore the beautiful places around us, these experiences continue to shape my understanding of belonging and community.
I am committed to building a preschool community where children’s voices are genuinely heard and respected, families feel a strong sense of connection and belonging, and educators feel supported, valued and empowered in their roles. By truly listening to children, we create meaningful relationships and a sense of importance that stays with them long after they leave, the kind that leads them to remember “that” teacher or “that” preschool where they felt seen.
When choosing an Early Childhood service, I warmly encourage families to come in and experience what our preschool is all about — the warmth, friendliness and professionalism that underpin everything we do. Working in partnership with families is central to my approach, and I am driven to ensure every child feels safe, confident and able to thrive.
I feel incredibly fortunate to lead such a dedicated team, who describe me as inspiring, supportive, genuine and reassuring. I lead with these values at the heart of my practice and feel privileged to be part of each child and family’s journey.
